@EwanMarshall samsung is prettier, sony seems to work better (esp for iplayer) but I wouldn't take those capabilities as top priority
@EwanMarshall though last month they had a "scrappage" deal. samsung bounce the offers too.. figured mostly just buy when ready
@EwanMarshall whatever you get will be obsolete soon anyway so enjoy it whilst it lasts
