decided to try implementing a web proxy at home (too many devices) - may cut down some traffic (not streaming tho')
added wpad to dns, created /wpad.dat on WHS, added mime type/expiry. defined auto proxy function. seems to do it. Does it slow down tho?
err. whilst it works "freeproxy" seems to add fair bit of delay loading (no pipelining). Any other free win32 proxies?
@EmmaGx IMO three are good for data - most contracts tariff can at most add 1 or 2Gb for £5
